Njide Ndili is the Country Director for PharmAccess Foundation, an international NGO dedicated to facilitating affordable access to better health care services in Africa, by stimulating investments in the healthcare industry through partnerships with the private sector and government institutions. In this role she has oversight of activities that support demand side financing, supply side quality improvement using ISQua accredited SafeCare Methodology for resource restricted settings, and activities to improve access to finance for healthcare SMEs through the Medical Credit Fund. She has over 20 years experience in the healthcare industry in the United States and Nigeria, and has worked as a consultant to several healthcare organizations.
Njide was the CEO Lionstone Healthcare Partners, a consulting company focused on healthcare information technology. Prior to this, she was the CEO of Hygeia Community Health Care and the Chief Operating Officer of Hygeia HMO. Before she relocated to Nigeria in 2003, Njide was the Regional Director of Quality at CIGNA Healthcare Houston. She also held senior management positions in her prior employment with Independence Blue Cross Philadelphia and AmeriHealth HMO Houston. For over 7 years, Njide was the Secretary for SQHN, a not-for-profit organization developing clinical standards and an accreditation track for healthcare organizations in Nigeria.
Njide has an MSc in Health Economics, Policy and Management from London School of Economics, an AMP from INSEAD Business School, Fontainebleau France, an MBA from the University of Houston, a Post Graduate Diploma in Finance and a B. Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Nigeria. She has attended several certificate programmes in healthcare quality improvement and managing digital technology innovation.
